Dr. Ruby J. Long, Author & Emergency Medicine Doctor, to Host Book Signing and Discussion Event at Mississippi State University Barnes & Noble

Mississippi State, MS – Dr. Ruby J. Long, an esteemed emergency medicine physician and the newly published author of Love Letters to Patients, will host a special book signing event at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at Mississippi State University. The event will take place on October 25th at 3:00 p.m. and is open to the student body and the wider community.

Love Letters to Patients is a heartfelt collection of personal reflections and insights from Dr. Long's experience in emergency medicine. The book sheds light on healthcare disparities and serves as a tribute to those navigating the healthcare journey, offering comfort, inspiration, and advocacy for caregivers and patients.

The event will include an engaging discussion with Dr. Long on vital topics such as patient advocacy, both as a caretaker and for oneself. She will also address the pressing issues of healthcare disparities, providing a unique perspective on navigating these challenges within the medical system. Additionally, Dr. Long will share insights on pursuing a career in medicine, offering valuable advice for aspiring healthcare professionals.

I am thrilled to share Love Letters to Patients with the Mississippi State University community.
